Scissors & Scotch is committed to supporting the local communities that support us. Through our nationwide Community Impact Fund and through each local shop, we set aside resources to support as many great organizations as we can. We give every request the special consideration it deserves, but unfortunately, we aren't able to accommodate each one. What types of organizations and events do you donate to?
We partner with 501(c)(3) organizations by making in-kind donations (gift cards and product) in communities around S&S shops.
How do I submit a donation request?
Please complete our Donation Request Form and we’ll get back to you as soon as we can. We give every request the special consideration it deserves, but unfortunately, we aren't able to accommodate each one.
How can I increase my chances of getting a donation?
Many factors go into our decision-making process. Some things that may help include: providing ample lead time (minimum of 6 weeks), having a connection to the local community surrounding our business, and providing details about how the donation will benefit the work that you do.
What can I ask for?
Our most common local donation is a silent auction item such as a gift card or product. Occasionally we will offer other types of silent auction items or gift bag donations depending on the needs of the event. Larger donations through our Community Impact Fund require least three months notice.
Can you donate to my charity more than once a year?
We like to spread the love to as many great organizations as possible, so for that reason, we only provide one donation per charity per year.
